Partners

The Knowledge Programme will be implemented by IIED and Hivos in close collaboration with a knowledge network consisting of academics, policy makers and practitioners active in this field. The KP will link up with existing networks and like-minded actors/activities to ensure strong policy impact.

The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED)

IIED is a policy research institute founded in 1973, committed to making sustainable development a reality, particularly for the world’s poor. The institute works internationally, through long term engagement with a network of partners around the world, and half of IIED’s funding is allocated to supporting partner activities. IIED builds bridges between policy and practice, local and global, rich and poor, government and private sector, and diverse interest groups, using a combination of rigorous research and citizen empowerment.
