Democratisation and Political Parties in MENA

The Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD), HIVOS and the Department of Political Science at the University of Amsterdam will organize a two-day workshop in The Hague, The Netherlands on the 23rd & 24th of February 2009.This workshop is organized within the framework of the Knowledge Programme Civil society in West Asia. By co-organizing this workshop, Hivos & the Political Science Department of the University of Amsterdam aim to acquire insights about democratic transformation and prospects for alternative activism as well as to learn how to best support Civil Society Activists.
