Introduction to Civil Society Building

Over the last 15 years, Hivos has defined its strategy in this respect as ‘civil society building’ (CSB). Programme Team

The Programme Team of the Hivos-ISS Knowledge Programme on Civil Society Building consists of a Hivos coordinator and practitioners as well as an ISS coordinator and academics. Furthermore, a number of independent consultants and researchers as well as partner organisations are involved in the Programme.

With 40 years of development experience, Hivos and its network of more than 800 Southern partners have a rich and often not sufficiently accessible wealth of practice.
